Android devices can install apps directly from a downloaded file — called an APK. It's the same app, just installed from our server instead of an app store. It's built into Android and completely safe. Useful when an app store isn't available or convenient on your device.
On your device go to Settings → Security (or Privacy on newer devices) and enable "Install unknown apps" or "Unknown sources". You may need to allow it for your browser specifically.
